{\f0\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 provides a way to register commonly-used mailboxes. This is especially useful when you correspond with someone who has a particularly long and complex electronic mail address. Each address book entry is assigned a short name (or }
{\f0\i\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 nickname}
{\f0\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 ). If you enter the nickname as a recipient address without a host name, the full address from the address book will be automatically substituted.\
At the top of the address book is a browser of the addresses you currently have registered, showing the name and nickname of the address. If you click on any of the address entries, the entry fields below are filled with the information for that entry. These fields are:\
{\f0\b\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 . Name }
{\f0\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 is typically the name of the person associated with this address. The entries in the browser will be sorted by this field in alphabetical order.\
Normally, names should be entered in "telephone book" form, with the surname, a comma, and the given name}
{\f1\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 .}
{\f0\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 When the address book entry is used in a message being composed, an entry of this form will be automatically reversed to normal form. If you want to suppress this behavior, for example when entering Asian names, omit the comma after the surname. An alternative way, useful if the name has a comma in it, is to quote the entire name in double quotes. For example:\
{\f1\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 Crispin, Mark\
Mao Tse-Tung\
"Crook and Shyster, Attorneys at Law"}
{\f0\fs24\fi0\li0\ql\gray0 \
